Whether you're looking for a subtle everyday statement or love nature-based designs, our Tortoise Shell Tutorial has something for everyone. With its warm brown tones and organic patterns, this design resembles the stunning pattern of a tortoise shell and adds a wild touch to your nails! 🐢

And here's how to do it:

1. After freeing our nails from both visible and invisible cuticles, roughening the nail surface, and filing the nails into shape, we start as usual with a thin layer of Base Coat and dip the nails into the Base Powder.
2. Next, we take out our Dip Tray and add a small amount of #PumpkinPie. We can gently tap the Dip Tray on the table to create a level surface. 
3. Now, we add some accents with the colors #Halloween and #TropicalOrange, and lightly work them in with a tool of our choice. It's important not to blend the colors too much, as the effect may be lost.
4. Now comes the exciting part: We apply another thin layer of Base Coat to our nail and place the inverted finger into the Dip Tray. We can gently tilt the finger back and forth to cover the entire surface. Any excess powder can be brushed off gently.
5. Followed by another thin layer of Base Powder. Then, we add some more accents and place the finger back into the Dip Tray. This not only intensifies the colors but also adds a special depth due to the differently placed accents.
6. Repeat this process on all our nails. We can always create new highlights, with more of one color or the other, so that no two fingers are alike. 
7. Now, we generously apply Activator to all nails and let it cure for 2 minutes.
8. Buff away any unevenness gently and let the Activator dry for another 2 minutes.
9. As always, we seal our nail design with 2 coats of Top Coat and pamper our cuticles with some nail oil.
