Sunset Nails Tutorial

With this tutorial, you can conjure up the most beautiful spring sunsets directly on your fingertips 🌅

How it works:

1. Before getting into the actual design, thorough preparation of our nails is crucial: We gently push back the cuticles with a wooden cuticle stick or manicure stick and remove any invisible cuticles along the nail edge.
2. Then, we shape the nails and gently roughen the entire nail surface with a buffer.
3. Next, we apply a thin layer of base coat to all nails and dip them one by one into our base powder.
4. Following that, another thin layer of base coat is applied to the thumb, index, and middle fingers, and we dip them into the radiant color Sunset Lover. For a particularly opaque result, we repeat the process a second time.
5. Afterward, a thin layer of base coat is applied to the ring and little fingers, and we dip them into the nude shade Cotton Candy. We repeat this step once more.
6. Next, we apply some base coat to the lower half of both nails and sprinkle our glitter powder Cinderella over it using a small brush. With tweezers, we can then place coarser glitter particles strategically until we are satisfied with the look.
7. To prevent damage during filing later on, we apply another thin layer of base coat and dip once again into the base powder. If necessary, we can now clean the nail edges with a wooden cuticle stick. This ensures a smooth result and prevents any lifting from the dipping manicure as our nails grow out.
8. Next up is our activator: We apply it generously to all nails and let it dry for 2 minutes. Any unevenness on the nail edges or surface can now be gently smoothed out with a file, and the nails can be shaped a bit more.
9. Another coat of activator is applied, and we let it cure for another 2 minutes.
10. Finally, we seal the design with 2 coats of top coat and nourish our cuticles with some nail oil.
