STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE
Easy Removal

Just as quickly as you applied your Gel Strips, you can remove them again. All you need is some warm water, Doonails Remover Oil, and a splash of soap. And the best part? The entire process is also wonderfully nourishing for your hands and nails!

What You’ll Need for Removal:

  • Remover Liquid 100ml

How it works:

APPLY REMOVER OIL

Apply the Doonails remover oil around the edges of your nails, massage it in well, and start gently loosening the gel strips using the included orangewood stick.

PREPARE A HAND SOAK

Fill a bowl with warm water and add 1–2 droppers of remover oil along with 2 pumps of hand soap.

SOAK YOUR NAILS 

Soak your nails for about 10 minutes. While soaking, gently run the orangewood stick under the gel strips to loosen and eventually remove them completely. If needed, soak a little longer.

REMOVE GLUE RESIDUE

Any leftover glue on your nails can be removed with a file or a cotton ball soaked in remover liquid.

CARE FOR HANDS & NAILS

A little extra care is a must: finish by applying a good amount of hand cream and gently massaging some Doonails nail and cuticle oil into your nail edges

Can I use the Gel Strips on any natural nail length? Whether short or long?

Yes! Our Gel Strips are longer than most on the market, making them suitable even for particularly long natural nails. But they can also be used without any issues on shorter nails. Thanks to their extra length, one Gel Strip can even be used for two applications on shorter nails.

I have an allergy to Shellac or to the ingredients HEMA/DI-HEMA.

No worries – our Gel Strips are free from HEMA and DI-HEMA. We've received very positive feedback from customers with allergies who have experienced issues with regular Shellac.
